Burnett, M.D. Medical Director The Annual Ministries in Christian Education Training/Planning Meeting is the symposium where Church educators and the seven ministries receive training to train others and plan their work in Christian Education. This year, the Health Commission joins us with four critical workshops on vital health matters. The 2008-2012 Quadrennial theme is "The African Methodist Episcopal Church: Great Past - Greater Future, An Incredible Call to Serve." The MCE using the 2008-2009 Connectional emphasis, "Influence" as a basis, will focus on the theme, "Influencing the World for the Cause of Christ" emphasizing the church's responsibility to influence public policy and advocate for social justice. We will honor the Christian Education Commission Chair in a celebratory banquet. Join us in Columbus, Ohio at the Renaissance Hotel on April 24-26, 2008.
